Thursday, July 13, 2017 through
Tuesday, July 18, 2017
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MAY 15th, 2017!
Adventure includes airfare, transportation, lodging, most food, several photo tours, some within the sanctuary, and others at neighboring attractions, photography instruction, and critique, and loads of socializing, fun, and laughter!
Flying out of Boston on July 13th, 2017, you will be picked up at the airport in Albuquerque and driven to the sanctuary, about two hours away, where we'll settle in and unwind. Feel free to roam and explore, or join in an optional photo excursion in the afternoon.
We'll have morning and afternoon photo excursions, including at least two opportunities to enter the enclosures and photograph and interact with the wolves!
On the morning of July 18th, 2017, we'll drive you back to the airport in Albuquerque for your flight back to Boston.
You will have wireless access to the Internet, but cell phone coverage is pretty bad out in the wild!
Five nights of nature, photos, and fun, for $1,700 per person!
We're booking the flights to and from as a block, and everyone will need to travel on the same flight, in order to arrive in Albuquerque together for the ride to the sanctuary. The flight from Boston will leave around 5:30am on Monday, July 13th, 2017.
A Note from Stephanie
There is wildness in wolves, spirit in nature, adventure in travel, and synergy in creative groups. That's what this is all about. It is a community experience. There will be time for solitude, reflection and meditation in the surrounding beauty but the focus of this excursion is on the power of the pack. We intend to inspire each other, enjoy companionship, share meals, and witness each others' discoveries while learning and taking photos.
Here are some photos from our 2016 adventure!
A camera, with all lenses and equipment required to shoot for 5 days. Spare batteries and extra memory cards are recommended!
Tripod and laptop are optional, but recommended. Lens coverage between 18mm and 300mm is recommended, for landscape and wildlife photography.
Travel light! Don't bring a ton of clothes! Bring stuff that can get torn and dirty, we're going into the wilderness! There will be washing machines, and showers, so you don't have to go full Grizzly Adams!
